Overview

The City Planning Commission consists of seven members appointed by the City Council who meet once a month to review development proposals within the City. They are the decision making body for the following kinds of applications:

  • Special Use Permits
  • Site Plan Review for new, nonresidential structures
  • Architectural Review for other than 1 and 2 family structures
  • Subdivision of land within the City
  • Review of exterior alterations to historic structures
