Overview
The Board of Assessment Review is a five member administrative review panel appointed by City Council to staggered five year terms. The Board renders decisions and notifies property owner / complainants and the City Assessor by the first of July. All complaints must be filed on the state prescribed form (RP-524, see below). A complaint to the Board of Assessment Review is a prerequisite to judicial review of an assessment.
